Did you mean:
Why does the message “You are active elsewhere” appear when using Tipico Sports?
According to the German State Treaty on Gambling, you’re not allowed to be active with multiple providers at the same time. This rule is enforced through the central system LUGAS, which detects whether you’re currently logged in with a licensed gambling provider – and prevents parallel activity.
When does Tipico mark you as active? As soon as you select a bet and add it to your bet slip, our system automatically registers you as active with LUGAS. During this time, you cannot be active with another provider.
What if you were logged in elsewhere before? In that case, a 5-minute cool-down period will automatically begin. You’ll be able to continue with Tipico once that time has passed.
Important: If you switch providers again during this period, the timer starts over from the beginning. When are you marked as inactive again? As soon as you log out, Tipico notifies LUGAS and your status is set to inactive.
